For the record, I never jumped on the Lance Armstrong Livestrong BS bandwagon. I never bought or wore a yellow rubber band bracelet or the skin-tight bike shorts which would have enhanced my fat A*** while quietly suffocating my junk. He gets credit for generating awareness of testicular cancer but I always thought Lance was an arrogant SOB. Like so many other supposed role models, he chose a path of lies and deception. He can offer no excuse that will satisfy all of those mid-life crisis guys who spent tons of money on Lance Armstrong Nike branded products riding their $3k bikes around town trying to emulate their hero. I used to see those guys riding around the suburbs on the weekends on their fancy bike with their yellow and black Livestrong bicycle outfits…I even nicknamed them the “Lance Armstrong wannabes” as I impatiently waited to pass them in my gas guzzling SUV on their Tour De Barrington… you know who I am referring to cause you saw them on the Tour De (name your town). I wonder how they feel now? Ripped or ripped off?
