Yes I am that Dad who thinks his kids are wimps when it comes to winter. Sure it is cold in the midwest but the Chicago area does not compare to other places when it comes to snowfall. So when I tell my kids that I walked backwards, uphill battling 3-5ft snow drifts…I am not so far off because I grew up in Syracuse, NY which is ranked #1 when it comes to the Top 50 Snowiest Cities in America…with average snowfall of 110″ or over 9 feet per year…
